Psalm 37: 4 “Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”

Believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established; believe His prophets and you shall prosper.

I decree that the power that raised Lazarus to life shall quicken every good thing that is dead in your life, in the name of Jesus.

MESSAGE: MFM Daily Devotional | 18th January 2022 – REWARDS OF FAITH (VI)

The pre-eminent position of faith in the lives of believers cannot be over-emphasised. Similarly, the rewards of faith cannot be denied. God rewards those who believe Him and diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Another reward of faith is that it helps to get the desire of our hearts granted.

MFM Daily Devotional | 18th January 2022

In Hebrews 6:12, the Bible enjoins us to be imitators and followers of those who through faith and patience inherited God’s promises. Beloved, you need patience. You must persevere in faith if you want to get the desires of your heart and finish well. Persevering in faith means that while you wait for your miracle and testimony to manifest, you should keep obeying God’s command, keep growing in Him and never give up.

It takes a violent faith to see the resurrection from the dead. Our Fire Scripture for today is an account of how Jesus raised Lazarus to life. Faith played significant roles in this miracle. The faith of Martha and Mary as well as the faith of Jesus Christ Himself. As far as Mary, Martha and their sympathisers were concerned, Jesus was late in coming and there was nothing anyone could do to bring Lazarus back to life anymore. Humanly speaking after four days of being in the grave, there was absolutely no hope of resuscitation.

Let us take note of that faith declaration by Martha: “Even now I know that whatever you ask of God, He will give you. That statement of faith overrides their earlier thought and confession, when they said, “Lord if you had been here our brother wouldn’t have died.” The truth is that, with Jesus, death is not greater than sickness. The Lord has power over both of them. Jesus also made game-changing faith declarations: “Our friend Lazarus sleeps but I go that I may wake him up”.

To further affirm His authority, Jesus told Martha, “lam the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25). The point here is that Martha’s declaration of faith worked along with the Resurrection and the Life to birth the miracle of raising Lazarus back to life. Have faith in God and you will see His glory!

1. This year, the desires of my heart shall all be granted, in the name of Jesus.
2. I receive the grace to be patient and to persevere in faith, in the name of Jesus.
3. By faith, I declare that nothing shall be impossible for me, this year, in the name of Jesus

4.Father, forgive me for the occasions that my thought, speech and action were not in line with faith in You, in the name of Jesus.
5. Lord, make me an apostle of faith, in the name of Jesus.
6. Faith to harvest souls for God worldwide, my life is available, locate me now, in the
name of Jesus.
7. I declare that because l have faith in God, I shall see His glory, in the name of Jesus.

Say This Prayer

Dear God,
I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me!

In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
