I am fascinated by how God works when someone regarded to as a “Kingdom leader” goes through a “convergence” moment in their life. Convergence happens when our God-given calling; our personal strengths, abilities, and talents; our life experiences (good and unpleasant); and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit occurs simultaneously. It happens all the time when we are going through difficult times or suffering, with some of us having to pay the price for our own mistakes. It can happen while we are at our most desperate moment, no matter how hard it appears at the time. When John Madden, a legendary American football announcer, calls, “BOOM! — It happens!” When everything seems lost, then something breaks in the Spirit, and the way to victory suddenly becomes apparent.
