Ephesians 5:27. “That He may present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”
That gives off an intriguing vibe! For if we take a look at the church as it is today, we can see that it is a long way from being perfect; but, God promises in His holy Word that His church will one day be perfect and holy. These words, which you are quite familiar with, were said by John the Revelator to characterize the cleansed church. He said, “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that observe the laws of God and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation chapter 14 verse 12
