Entering into rest involves a surrender of our anxieties, worries, and striving. It’s an acknowledgment that, in Christ, we find a refuge from the storms of life. Hebrews 4:10-11 encourages us, “For anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest.” It’s an effort not rooted in busyness or human striving, but in the intentional pursuit of God’s presence and peace.
