TOPIC: The Gift of Faith

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Deuteronomy 1, Deuteronomy 2:1-23, Luke 9:57-62, Luke 10:1-24, Psalm 41:1-6

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

MEMORY VERSE: “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” – Mark 11:24

Faith can move mountains.

Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit.

Receive Undefeatable Faith By The Power In The Blood Of Jesus, In The Name Of Jesus.

We have the power gifts which are divided into three namely: the gift of faith, gift of healing and the gift of miracles. These gifts display divine power. They make it very clear that God is the Almighty that can do all things. They are supernatural, extraordinary and miraculous in manifestation. They all work through God’s people who have been gifted.

All gifts are important but the gift of faith is of utmost significance. Why? You may ask. The Bible says in the book of Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

In essence, all other gifts cannot be manifested effectively without faith. What qualified all the heroes listed in Hebrews chapter 11 is their gift of faith. They had unwavering faith in the word of God. They had a firm and unshaken belief that whatsoever He said, He would surely do.

Faith is the bedrock of our salvation. Everyone that confesses Jesus Christ as his or her personal Lord and Saviour can do so only because he or she believes that Jesus Christ is the Saviour sent from God (Romans 10:10). Faith in God works wonders.

Many people pray, speak in tongues, praise and do all kinds of spiritual activities and yet they cannot feel the move of God in their lives and situations because they lack faith.

What is faith? It is a strong feeling of trust in someone or something. Faith is an unshaken belief in something whether you can see it or not. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

To build a deep and meaningful relationship with God, faith in Him cannot be underestimated. The gift of faith distinguished Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Daniel and the apostles. Beloved, ask God for the gift of faith today. It will distinguish you, in Jesus’ name.

Dear God,

The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart
