TOPIC: No Pain, No Gain

Today’s Scripture: The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord…has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come…To all who mourn…he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair…. — Isaiah 61:1–3 (NLT)

MESSAGE: No Pain, No Gain — JOYCE Meyer Daily Devotional | 25th June 2022

When moving to emotional wholeness, even with the Holy Spirit leading us, the pain of the healing process from emotional wounds can be more traumatic than experiencing physical pain. Because I experienced so much emotional pain early in my life, I grew weary of hurting. I was attempting to find healing by following the leadership of the Holy Spirit, yet I could not understand why the process had to be so painful.

No Pain, No Gain — JOYCE Meyer Daily Devotional | 25th June 2022

The Lord revealed to me that I had been hiding behind many “doorways of pain.” I was deep in bondage, taking refuge behind false personalities, pretenses, and facades. I began to understand that when people are led out of bondage into freedom, they must pass back through similar doorways of pain to get on the other side of those doors. They pass through the emotional responses to their initial pain as the Lord leads them to face issues, people, and truths that are difficult. The good news is that we don’t have to face them on our own. He is always near to you, and He will bring you to a place of healing if you will let Him.

Prayer Starter: Thank You for healing the brokenhearted, opening prison doors, and setting the captives free! I no longer have to live in the pain of my past. Thank You, Lord!

Prayer Of Salvation

Thank you for reading Devotional Here Today On Kingdom Sermons, You are encouraged to please give your life to the LORD JESUS CHRIST if you have not done that before.

Say This Prayer

Dear God,
I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me!

In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
