A man bought a piece of land with an already laid foundation on it. After the purchase, he checked the foundation and discovered he could not build on it because it has structural faults. Hence, he pulled it down.
Jesus is the foundation (1 Corinthians 3:11) that cannot be pulled down, because He has no faults.
However, it is possible to put up on the foundation ‘spiritual structures’ that will be faulty, if the builder is not careful of wrong doctrines and interpretations of the Word of God. Hence, Apostle Paul warned the Corinthian Christians to be careful how they build (1 Corinthians 3:10). Building with the wrong kind of materials, even if the foundation is solid, can still lead to a total collapse of the building and it might not stand the test of faith when it comes.

As a believer in Christ, the onus lies on you to build your lives up on your most holy faith (Jude 20) using the right ingredients from the Word of God. This will make you stand strong in the face of storms and challenges that may rise against your faith in God.

Say This Prayer

Dear God,
I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart
