Bible Text: Philippians 2:14-16
Memory Verse: “Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, ‘children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.’ Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” Philippians 2:14-15, NIV

[NBC] Seek Daily Devotional || August 15th 2022 — Be Blameless

A student wore a white cloth to the class with stains without noticing it. A friend called his attention to it and he decided to go and change it. Another friend discouraged him from doing so, but his lecturer asked him to change the cloth, as he would not be able to behold such stains.
Apostle Paul, in his epistle to the Christians in Philippi, highlighted the need for them to pay attention to being blameless. He appealed to them to seek and work at living a life that is pure without fault. This is because the world is becoming depraved and corrupt. Hence, Christians in Philippi were admonished to live differently from those who were worldly. This was to ensure that Paul’s efforts over their lives been worthwhile (vs. 16).

You are expected to live a blameless life as a child of God. The world today is permeated with all kinds of evil. A number of young people are daily giving in to evil deeds. But God is depending on you to be blameless and pure without which you cannot make heaven.
