When God is predicated, it is not as something that is fundamentally distinct from His knowledge and will, but rather as something that differs logically from them; inasmuch as power implies the notion of a principle carrying out what the will command and what knowledge directs, which three things in God are identified, power is predicated of God as something that is fundamentally distinct from knowledge and will, but that differs logically from them. Alternatively, we could say that God’s wisdom or will, in the sense that it is the effective principle, contains the concept of power.
