MESSAGE: DCLM Daily Manna for 21st January 2022 | Power In Christ’s Word

Often, what prevents people from receiving miracles from the Lord is failure to do the simplest thing: believe that God is able and willing to change their situation. Where this is absent, problems defy prayers and despair deepens. The encounter between Jesus and the Roman military officer, the centurion, is very instructive. The man could have been dissuaded from Jesus on account of race, pride, power, etc. But none of these things mattered to him. He was focused on getting healing for his servant who was sick at home. He told Jesus not to bother coming to his house. He believed that if Christ spoke the Word, his servant would be healed.

As a commander over 100 soldiers, he understood authority. He knew that just as he could give order to his soldiers and they would obey him, so Jesus could command healing on his servant, and He would be obeyed. It was a pleasant discovery for Jesus and He declared that He had not found such great faith in Israel. He warned the Jews that they risked being replaced in the kingdom of heaven by other people. To the centurion, Jesus said, “as thou hast believed, so be it done unto [you].” His servant was healed that very moment.

You must not allow anything to hinder you from receiving the fulfilment of the promises of God for all situations in your life. No sickness, affliction, infirmity, challenge or trouble can resist the word of Jesus Christ. He is the Word personified. So, His word is full of power and anointing; when it is received with faith, it results in explosion of miracles. Believe in His word and nothing shall be impossible to you.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY: Faith unlocks the door to the supernatural.

Prayer Of Salvation

Thank you for reading Devotional Here Today On Kingdom Sermons, You are encouraged to please give your life to the LORD JESUS CHRIST if you have not done that before.

Say This Prayer

Dear God,
I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me!

In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen
