This book is a systematic interpretation of Philippians 3:10. It explicitly explain the person and Nature of Christ. As a Person, Christ is seen as Prophet, King and Priest. It also described how Christ was 100% man and is 100% God as recorded in Old and New Testaments. He possesses the very nature of God who He is immortal, invincible, unchangeable, Omnipotent, Omnipresence, and Omniscience God among others.
The attributes of Christ we’re also described in this book which include Love, Humility, Merciful, Holiness etc. Various ways to know Christ were also put together of which one of the foremost way is by personal encounter with Christ. The reason for knowing Christ and the necessity of knowing Him, Steps to knowing Him more and more which will help our daily growth into the fullness of Christ for the great commission. There are various consequences of Not Knowing Him in one’s life as well as the benefits of knowing Him. These benefits cut across the earthly and heavenly benefits.
Therefore, the book came out at the proper time which sought to provide answer to many questions. It looks at the believer’s need to posses and experience God’s divine life in order to fulfill God’s purpose. The book also helps us to discover who we are in the hands of God and hence, enhancing Evangelism in our corrupt world and the spiritual edification of individual, family, churches, small groups and schools.
